Dr. Giulio Dominelli
Dr Dominelli completed his training at UBC and has called Kelowna home for the past decade. In addition to general respirology, his areas of expertise include the evaluation of lung cancer (including linear and radial EBUS) and sarcoid management. He is a member of the BC lung cancer screening working group and the department head for medicine at KGH. When not in the bronchoscopy suite, you will find him relaxing on a patio with his 2 children enjoying the Okanagan.

Dr. Julia Pritchard
Dr. Julia Pritchard is a practicing respirologist at Kelowna General Hospital and Clinical Lecturer with the University of British Columbia. Her clinical practice is focused on patients with severe asthma in addition to general respirology. She is a graduate from UBC Medical school with specialty training in Internal Medicine and Respiratory Medicine from the University of Calgary. Dr. Pritchard is passionate about multidisciplinary comprehensive care for asthma management and is working towards many quality improvement goals for asthmatic patients throughout Interior Health. She has developed an evolving interest into healthcare efficiency and incorporates several new technologies into her clinical practice. This has led to her to act as a translational health technology consultant helping to bridge the gap between new technology companies and applications in healthcare.

Dr. Max Deschner
Dr. Deschner is a Respirologist and Sleep Medicine specialist who joined the Okanagan Lung Centre in July 2025. After completing medical school at the University of Ottawa, he pursued postgraduate training at Western University, completing his Internal Medicine and Respirology residencies followed by a clinical fellowship in Sleep Medicine.
Dr. Deschner provides comprehensive outpatient care in General Respirology and full-scope Sleep Medicine. He has a particular clinical interest and expertise in home mechanical ventilation (invasive and non-invasive) for chronic respiratory failure. His practice welcomes patients navigating the full scope of sleep disorders including sleep-related breathing disorders, hypersomnolence, chronic insomnia, parasomnias, circadian rhythm sleep-wake disorders and sleep-related movement disorders.

Dr. Douglass Rolf
Dr. Rolf is a respirologist and intensivist who has practiced in Kelowna since fall 1991. He has happily seen the Respiratory Division grow during that time and develop with the addition of each new physician and the evolution of their special interests.
His practice has included involvement in direct patient care all levels, including interventional bronchoscopy, clinical trials, respiratory patients support for neuromuscular disorders, interstitial lung disease, pulmonary hypertension pulmonary lymphatic diseases, sleep apnea related disorders and thrombosis.
After graduation from Medicine University of Alberta, further education included an Internship at The Gray Nuns Hospital Edmonton, followed by Internal Medicine specialty in Ottawa, Pulmonary Medicine at the U of A, then Critical Care Fellowship in Calgary before coming to the Okanagan.
He has seen the city, region, facilities and care grow in our region.
